IDENTITY

Corporate identity

An equipment company that does not look like one. That is the goal. Strict monotone · bold typography · bento grid · extreme minimalism. There is no accent colour — emphasis is made by inverting ink and paper.

LOGO // DON'T

Do not

Rescale, rotate or skew · the diagonal of the two circles is the identity/01
Adjust the gap between circles · nor reposition the wordmark/02
Apply colour · a monotone system has no accent/03
Place directly on a photograph · only on white space or an ink block/04
Intrude on the clear space · no text, rules or other logos within D/05
Use an unadopted draft · there is one master; version numbers are only work order/06

COLOUR

Ink and paper

Those two are all there is. Grey is structural only — rules, disabled states, placeholders.

Achromatic

R = G = B. No tinted greys. No shadows, no translucency, no glass — the sticky header is the only exception.

FORM

Circle or right angle

The logo is made of true circles and hard-edged slabs, nothing in between — no rounded rectangles, no ellipses. Corner radius is 0.

CHAMFER

A 45° cut corner. One corner per element, top-right by default. Sized to the bento gap — 16 px on screen, 4 mm in print. Containers only; never on buttons, inputs or icons.

The block at the foot of this page has its top-right corner cut — that is the real thing. A plain rectangle says nothing; a cut corner is remembered.

Icons

A 24-unit square grid, 2-unit stroke, no fill, radius 0. Only four elements — circle, horizontal, vertical and 45° diagonal.

An icon is used only when it replaces a sentence, never alongside one — if the word count is unchanged, the icon is decoration.

Never place two equal circles on a diagonal. It reads as the logo.
